Impagino EULA
Version 1.2 — 13 October 2026
Please read this agreement before accepting it. It governs your use of Impagino (the Software). Clicking "Accept and continue" signifies your agreement. If you do not agree, choose "Decline and exit" and do not use the Software. Acceptance is recorded locally on your computer for this version of the agreement.
1. Parties and scope
The Licensor is Floria Ovidiu Mircea trading as Omepheus Software. The Licensor's address and contact details are provided in your purchase confirmation, invoice or applicable written license order. You are the individual or organization using the demo or acquiring a paid license (the Licensee). A person accepting on behalf of an organization must have authority to bind it. Contact the Licensor through the contact details provided with your purchase or license order.
This agreement concerns the Software license. The purchase documents govern the price, payment, edition, delivery and any separately agreed support or maintenance. Mandatory legal rights take precedence over conflicting provisions.
2. License grant and commercial use
Subject to this agreement and a valid license, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive license to install and use the purchased edition of Impagino for personal, internal business and commercial printing or prepress work. The Software is licensed, not sold. No royalty is due to the Licensor merely because you produce or sell printed products or other output using the Software.
Each paid license is perpetual (for life): it has no scheduled expiry and is not a subscription. It includes all future versions of Impagino, including major-version upgrades, for the purchased edition, at no additional license fee. The same one-computer activation and edition limits apply to those versions. This does not require development of new versions or promise lifetime support, compatibility with every future operating system, or perpetual availability of online services. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
One license permits activation on one computer at a time. You may move it to another computer by deactivating the previous computer and activating the new one. If the old computer is lost, damaged or inaccessible, contact the Licensor for assistance with the activation reset. Multiple operators may use the same licensed computer without creating additional simultaneous computer activations.
3. Editions
Personal permits physical paper up to 216 mm in width and 300 mm in height. Small printshop permits physical paper up to 500 mm in width and 350 mm in height. These limits are inclusive and apply in the Software's sheet coordinates to the physical paper, not a larger output plate or media area. Rotating artwork does not remove the paper limits. The Personal edition may also be used commercially under section 2; its name does not restrict commercial use.
Unlimited has no edition-based paper-size or other commercial feature limits. All three editions remain subject to documented technical capabilities, supported formats, system resources and integrity checks. "Unlimited" is not a promise that every physically possible job, third-party workflow or device is supported.
A free demo mode is available without activation and without a time limit for evaluating the Software. It permits PDF import, layout creation and editing, onscreen preview, and saving and reopening jobs and templates. Export of imposed PDFs, output/proof packages and printing are disabled. Demo mode has no paid edition paper-size limit; technical capabilities and integrity checks still apply. Saved demo jobs can be reopened after activation; output must comply with the activated edition. Demo use does not grant production output rights or permission to bypass output restrictions. Edition upgrades and additional computer licenses require the relevant license entitlement.
4. Activation, periodic checks and offline use
Activation and deactivation use the licensing service currently operated at https://license.omepheus.com. The Software normally checks the license online every seven days. A valid signed authorization may permit offline use for up to 30 days from its issue date. This authorization period does not change the perpetual term of the purchased license. Once it expires, an online refresh is required before export or printing can continue. Editing and saving remain available in demo mode.
Activation may fail when a license is invalid, has already activated another computer, lacks the required edition entitlement, or the service cannot be reached. Contact the Licensor if a legitimate license cannot be activated. Deactivation and transfer normally require access to the licensing service. The Licensor will not treat a routine service outage as termination of a paid perpetual license; contact the Licensor to resolve prolonged access problems.
5. Permitted copies and restrictions
You may keep installation and backup copies as needed to use the license, while respecting the one-activated-computer limit. You must not share license keys to enable unauthorized use, circumvent Impagino's commercial licensing controls, redistribute the proprietary Software as your own product, or rent or sublicense it without the Licensor's written permission.
Except where applicable law or a component's separate license permits it, you must not decompile, reverse engineer or modify the proprietary Software. Nothing in this agreement restricts mandatory rights to backup, study, interoperability, error correction, lawful license transfer or other uses that cannot be excluded by contract. Do not remove ownership notices from copies you lawfully make.
6. Third-party software
Impagino includes third-party components governed by their own licenses. Their notices and license texts accompany the distribution. This agreement does not replace those licenses or reduce the rights they grant. In particular, applicable rights to modify or replace LGPL components, relink with modified libraries, and reverse engineer for debugging those modifications remain available. Restrictions on Impagino's proprietary code do not extend to rights granted by third-party licenses. Refer to THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and the included license directory.
7. Your content and responsibility for output
You retain ownership of your documents, layouts and output. You must have the rights needed to process the PDFs, fonts, artwork and other content you use. You are responsible for backups and for checking imposition, numbering, sheet dimensions, bleed, marks, colors and output against the requirements of each job. Validate output through appropriate proofs before committing to a production run.
Use only workflows and capabilities documented for your version. Features identified as experimental, proof-only or awaiting production validation are not represented as validated industrial production workflows. The Software's checks assist your work but do not replace professional prepress review.
8. Licensing data
Licensing requests may transmit your license key, a hashed computer identifier, computer name, operating-system/platform information, activation identifiers and technical request data. The service receives ordinary connection information, including the originating IP address. These data are used to validate licenses, enforce the computer limit and support activation, renewal of offline authorization and deactivation. License keys and offline certificates are protected locally using encryption backed by the operating system's secret store.
The licensing process does not upload your PDFs, artwork or print-job content. Acceptance of this agreement is stored locally and is not itself sent to the licensing service. This clause describes licensing behavior; it is not a waiver of privacy rights or consent to unrelated marketing. For personal-data requests or further privacy information, contact the Licensor using your purchase details.
9. Support, updates and warranties
Support, maintenance and upgrades are included only to the extent stated in the purchase documents or a separate arrangement. Any express promises made there remain applicable. To the extent permitted by law, the Software is otherwise provided without additional warranties of uninterrupted operation, complete absence of defects, or suitability for every particular device or workflow.
Nothing in this agreement excludes mandatory rights concerning conformity, remedies, security updates, refunds or other consumer protections. Accepting this agreement does not by itself waive a statutory right of withdrawal.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or losses arising from unverified production output. For other claims arising from the Software, the Licensor's aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected license. These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory rights and remedies remain unaffected.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time and remove its proprietary copies. The Licensor may terminate this license for a material breach that remains uncorrected 30 days after written notice, unless applicable law requires a different procedure. On lawful termination, stop using and remove the proprietary Software, subject to any mandatory rights. Termination does not transfer ownership of your content to the Licensor and does not terminate third-party licenses. A licensing check or service interruption alone does not terminate this agreement.
12. Changes and applicable law
Changes to these terms require your agreement or another lawful contractual basis. Installation of a new version may request acceptance of its applicable terms; this is not an automatic retroactive change to an existing perpetual license. Applicable law and any lawful jurisdiction provisions in your purchase documents govern. Mandatory consumer law and jurisdiction rights prevail. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Contact the Licensor through your purchase or license order for questions about this agreement.
